This training program for aspiring allies will provide insight into the beautiful range of identities that make up the LGBTQ+ community. Participants will learn the basics of LGBTQ+ identity, vocabulary, history, and the Movement for LGBTQ+ Liberation today. Participants will hear stories of LGBTQ+ individuals to better understand the lived experience of LGBTQ+ people in our region. If you aspire to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and want to learn more about what the movement has to offer, this training is the perfect for you! Lunch will be provided.
